House adjourned

Parliament was adjourned a short while ago for a meeting of party leadersto discuss a request made by the opposition for a debate on the no-confidence motion against Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran. 

 The Speaker informed them that a decision on the debate would be arrived at the party leaders’ meeting.
