SL Army team leaves for Lebanon

The Sri Lanka Army says that a group of army personnel will leave the country on Wednesday on peace-keeping duties to Lebanon.
Army Media Director Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera said that among the army personnel are 76 soldiers and four officers.
The Army Spokesperson said that this would be the last team being dispatched to Lebanon.
In total, ten officers and 140 army soldiers have been dispatched on peacekeeping duties to Lebanon.
The group leaving the country on Wednesday will be the 9th team being sent on United Nations peace-keeping duties.
