A cabinet sub committee will be appointed to look into the issues that has arisen with regard to the broadcasting rights of international cricket matches.
According to Cabinet Media Spokesperson Dr. Rajitha Senaratne the decision was reached at Wednesday night’s cabinet meeting.
Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, addressing the cabinet media briefing, said attention was focussed on the loss incurred by state media institutions as a result of providing the broadcasting rights to CSN and further added that an injustice has been caused to viewers when the commentary does not take place in Tamil Language and that the appointed sub committee will take actions to rectify the situation
