The Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) on Sunday (15) seized three kilograms of heroin and apprehended one individual in Wattala, the Police Spokesperson said.
The street value of the haul of heroin is estimated over 20 million rupees, it was reported. Acting on a tip-off, a team from the PNB carried out the raid where they also seized two vehicles and Rs. 2.4 million cash.
The apprehended suspect will be produced before the Magistrate to obtain a detention order, today.
