Six police OICs have been transferred with immediate effect. According to Police Headquaters, the transfer order was issued by the inspector general of police.
Accordingly, the Maligawatta OIC has been transferred to the police statistics division, while the Habaraaduwa OIC has been transferred to the Maligawatta Police Station .
The Baduraliya OIC was transferred to the Habaraduwa Police Station and the OIC of the police statistics division is now the Wellawatta OIC.
Finally, the Bakamuna OIC is transferred and is now the Mulliyaweli OIC, while the OIC of the Polonnaruwa Buddhi division has been transferred to the post of Bakamuna OIC.
