Three kg of gold was seized from a man who arrived at the Tiruchi airport in India from Sri Lanka.
Indian Customs officials found the gold kept concealed in a microwave oven and arrested Rayees, who arrived from Colombo by a SriLankan Airlines flight last night, the PTI reported.
The value of the seized gold was estimated to be around Rs 16 million.
