A fallen tree that obstructed traffic at 8.30 a.m. along the Malabe-Kaduwela road resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
Police stated that the 54 year old motorcyclist had been crushed under the tree that fell across the road.
Meanwhile, two three wheeler’s, another motorbike and a lorry had been damaged in the incident. The tree has now been cleared from the road and vehicular movement has been restored.
