Sri Lankan Airlines says that one of its planes bound to Shanghai, China from Colombo was recalled back to the BIA, due to a technical fault.
An Official attached to the airline said that the passengers were boarded on to another plane.
When inquired by News 1st the Duty Manger at the Airport said that the plane which left the Airport at 02.10pm returned to the BIA by 04.55 pm.
