Police Media spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunesekera said that the accounts of the accomplices of Wela Suda, who was arrested on charges of drug peddling, are being probed at present.
Court, on a prior occasion, banned MP Duminda Silva from travelling abroad after his finances were investigated, based on a confession made by Wele Suda.
Police Media Spokesperson also urged the public to direct any information over the assets of Wele Suda to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
