Bribery Commission summons Shashi

National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader Wimal Weerawansa said today his wife Shashi had been summoned to the Bribery Commission to record a statement on several allegations. 

Sources said the statement was in connection with her husband’s declaration of assets. Mr. Weerawansa when contacted told Daily mirror that he was unaware as to why his wife was summoned to the BC.

 “I’m still in the parliament and have no information as to why she was summoned,” he said.
