Prime Minister Wickremesinghe also stressed the need to refrain from making statements which deter the investigations into fraud and corruption and the establishing of good governance.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that Wickremesinghe had pointed out that people who were keen to establish a new political culture in the country were looking forward to the eradication of corruption and fraud and punish those responsible for such activities if found guilty.
