Tissa released on bail

Former Health Minister Tissa Attanayake was today released on bail with two sureties of Rs.1 million each. Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Ganmage fixed the next hearing for March 11.

MP Attanayake was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) on February 2 on charges of displaying a forged document at a media conference during the presidential election campaign.
