The Chairperson of the University Grants Commission Professor Kshanika Hirimburegama has tendered her letter of resignation.
Speaking to News1st, earlier tonight, Minister of State for Higher Education, Professor Rajiv Wijesinha confirmed that Professor Hirimburegama, had submitted her letter of resignation to President Maithripala Sirisena.
