nterim Budget 2015 passed with a majority of 163 votes

The vote on the second reading of the Interim Budget 2015 concluded in Parliament a short while ago.
The Interim Budget was passed with a majority of 163 votes.
One hundred and sixty four (164) were in favour of the interim budget while one was against.
Independent MP Ajith Kumara voted against the Interim Budget.The budget proposal was presented by Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake on January 29.
