The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that a nine-hour water cut will be imposed in several areas in the Gampaha District on Saturday.
The water cut which will be in effect from 09 a.m. to 06 p.m. on Saturday will disrupt water supply in the vicinity of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha, Peliyagoda Pradeshiya Sabha, Wattala Municipality, Hendala Pradeshiya Sabha area.
The NWSDB also added that areas within the Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha, Biyagama Industrial Zone, Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha and the Dompe Pradeshiya Sabha including Dekatana, Naamaluwa, Malwana, Kalukodayawa and Dompe.
The nine-hour water cut will also be imposed in the areas that come under the Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha, the Ja-Ela Urban Council and the Katunayake – Seeduwa Urban Council.
