Five people including a small child have been killed in an accident involving a bus and a three-wheeler in the Udamalala area in Hambantota.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana said that two others who sustained serious injuries have been admitted to the Hambantota Hospital.
The accident occurred at about 5.40 on Wednesday evening. SSP Rohana added that both vehicles had been travelling in the same direction.
