CID to get JMO report on Shashi

Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today permitted the CID to obtain a report from the Judicial Medical officer on the health condition of Shashi Weerawansa, who was earlier arrested on charges of obtaining a diplomatic passport by producing fraudulent documents. 

The CID, in a motion filed in Court sought permission to obtain a medical report on former minister Wimal Weerawansa’s wife Sashi who had admitted herself to a private hospital in Malabe.
