Six new Governors were sworn in before Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena Tuesday at the Presidential Secretariat.
Mr. H.M.G.S. Palihakkara was sworn in as the new Governor for Northern Province, Mr. Osteen Fernando was sworn in as the new Governor for Eastern Province, Mrs. Surangani Ellawala was sworn in as the new Governor for Central Province.
Mr. B.M.A.R. Perera was sworn in as the new Governor for Sabaragamuwa province and Mr. M.P. Perera was sworn in as the new Governor for Uva Province.
